Our hope for camp is that this will be a safe, fun place for students to come and learn more about the love of Jesus, make amazing memories with friends, and go home feeling excited to live out what was learned.
To make camp a fun and safe place for everyone we ask the following:
Definition to Earn a Level 1 Infraction
Consequences
Infraction can be issued by a counselor and a verbal warning will be given to the student in the presence of the head counselor. All level 1 infractions will be reported to the counselor support team.
Level 2 infraction is an accumulation of two level 1 infractions. Infractions can be removed with good behavior throughout the day. All infractions reset every night because tomorrow is always a new day.
Ephesians 4: 26 “In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,...
Ephesians 4: 32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
Consequences
Infraction can be issued by a counselor and a verbal warning will be given to the student in the presence of the lead counselor. All level 2 infractions will be reported to the counselor support team.
Possible consequences for students with level 2 infraction includes;
Loss of camp privileges (Ex, pool time, game time, candy shop…etc). Loss of camp privileges need to be approved by the counselor support team.
Definition to Earn a Level 3 Infraction
Consequences
Level 3 Infractions can only be issued by the counselor support team and camp director(s).
Both a counselor and lead counselor are required to request a level 3 infraction, but only the counselor support team and camp director(s) can approve the request.
If a level 3 infraction is issued, a verbal warning will be given to the student and a phone call home to the student's guardian will be made to update them on the situation. Most level 3 infraction will result in dismissal of the student from kids camp. If the camp director(s) decide to send the student home, there will be no refund for camp costs and the student will be asked to take the following year off from kids camp.
Each level 3 infraction will be discussed among the camp director(s) and the final decisions on the next steps will be determined.
